CAN I CALL TO DISCUSS?

Unfortunately, despite our number being on google, (we’ve tried to remove it to avoid confusion but are experiencing some technical difficulties!) we can rarely answer calls. The number is manned by owner Emily who, when not in the salon with clients is busy at home with the kids. If you have an urgent enquiry about your impending appointment please contact your nail tech directly via Instagram (link via our team page) or if drop us an email thegossipnailbar@gmail.com and we will get back to you asap. Please be sure to read all the information provided here first as many queries can be answered via our services page. We get a high demand of enquiries and do not have the resources to respond to questions that can be found throughout our website.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CRUELTY FREE AND VEGAN?

We now stock Magpie Gel polish which is all HEMA FREE, cruelty free and vegan. We also use Apres Gel X for Extensions which are vegan and cruelty free but contain less than 1% of Hema.

WHAT DO I BOOK IN FOR?

DO YOU DO ACRYLIC?

No we don’t. We will not remove any acrylic product either.

DO YOU DO PEDICURES?

No, hand nails only.

DO YOU DO REGULAR POLISH?

No, gel nails only.

DO WE RESPOND TO EMAILS WITH QUESTIONS THAT ARE ANSWERED HERE?

No, sorry. If you’ve read everything and you’re still unsure then we’ll be happy to help but we unfortunately do not have time or resources to respond to everyone that gets in touch without first reading all the information.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

We do not offer any service to anyone under the age of 16 for the purposes of our insurance. You will be turned away and charged a cancellation fee if we suspect you are under 16.

I BROKE ONE, CAN YOU FIX IT?

We will fix any problem that we deem to be a result of our application free of charge up to 7 days post original appointment, subject to availability.

After 7 days there will be a small fee of £2 per gel polish/overlay and £4 per extension.

Please book in for a fix appointment as soon as you can. please contact us if you can’t get an appointment within 7 days.

PARKING

Old market: There is on street parking right outside the salon which is limited to 2 hours and can be paid by RingGo. Alternatively we are just a short 5 minute walk from Cabot Circus car park and are on the bus route.

Bedminster: there is free parking on all the side roads around Chessel street. There’s also a paid car park a short walk down the road close to McDonald’s.
